Troop130 is entirely run by volunteer parents and of course the boys.

We believe that when we share the work it makes it easy, fun and rewarding for all volunteers. How can you help?

1. We teach the Scouts to be considerate of others time; we ask parents to do the same. For example if the Scoutmasters are running a meeting / camp out, *be on time*. If a volunteer sends out messages that require a response or an action then please do it promptly or reply quickly.

2. Offer to help: give lifts, instruct the boys in a subject, help the committee with a project, help the Scoutmaster team on campouts.

3. Be patient: the Scouts are learning to manage and organise themselves and others. So do not be surprised if, for example, going on camp seems to take a long time and the Scoutmasters step back and allow it to take time. This is intentional
